Monag had become dependent on its Highering to extract insight from its data. To gain agility, it required a more self-sufficient, BI environment.
“Wherever I go, the demand for data visualization is always greater than the supply,” says director of collaboration at Monag. “With it, we can empower customers with regular reporting to react quickly and appropriately.”
Without a dedicated IT professional on staff, Monag recognized that a technology partner could help streamline its modernization process. With the help of Highering, Monag connected Power BI to an on-premises SQL Server Analysis Services cube with many rows of data refreshed in near-real time.

The Strategy

With the automatically generated reports from Power BI, support staff can see when a customer is having trouble with the product.
Using multiple tiles for each report the company generates through Power BI, employees can see similar data represented numerous ways or different data sets in a single format.
For Monag, this has meant a clearer picture of the distributor and direct sales data. Thanks to the automatic updating and reporting features of Power BI, these visually appealing reports also contain more relevant data than those the company used in the past.
